Principal Accountabilities: 

• Support the Maintenance Department in delivering safe, reliable and efficient maintenance services.
• Participate in maintenance activities under supervision.
• Comply with company policies, maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department. 

Specific Responsibilities: 

• Support inspections of rail, electronic, mechanical, civil, building and electrical infrastructure including night shift inspections.
• Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Capture maintenance data and update maintenance records.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Managers.

Educational Level: 

• National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related qualification.

Other Technical/ Professional Skills: 

• Recent graduate in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Understanding of engineering principles will be advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license with driving experience

Language Ability: Fluent in English
